On the advice of jockey Tom Queally, who rode SW in her latest race at Kempton recently, and came back suggesting she should be tried over 1ml 2f, James and I have found an interesting opportunity for her to determine whether or not Mr Queally is indeed a good judge of a horse.
Its a 1ml 2f 46-60 hcp. and there are over 30 entries, but we are 5th in the pecking order acc to hcp ratings, so, if James decides to declare her, we`ll definitely get a run.
Its all a big learning curve with young horses such as ours, but I`m sure there`s a lot more to come from SW……maybe next season fair enough, but for now, lets just wait and see just how she performs over this first time try over a longer distance.
