With this latest addition to our portfolio, we are hoping that Harvey Smiths knack of finding success from “Bargain Basement” purchases will again soon be in evidence, as Charlie Wingnut will shortly be performing in McGoldrick Racings black and yellow colours.
As I have found out for myself over many years involvement with the yard, when horses arrive and begin work at Sue and Harveys, they just seem to become relaxed and happy on the Craiglands Farm gallops, many showing marked improvement from results at yards they were at elsewhere.
We are extremely hopeful Charlie will be another that will benefit from his change of scenery, and if you check out his early career form with Nicky Henderson, before he went PTP racing with another yard, there`s a lot to like and give us plenty of hope he will become a real fun horse for us guys, now back again under rules.
He is working nicely in his new environment and I will update this page regarding progress towards the date of his first run in our colours.
