To follow on from our “INVITATION TO JOIN US” ad which has been appearing regularly in the Racing Post Classified since back in July, stating we had two young unraced horses in mind, and were waiting to get the nod from Sue Smith regarding one in particular.
Well, the phone call duly came, and McGoldrick Racing readily agreed to purchase a stunning Irish bred 4yo unraced gelding by Mahler, which we have named Paddy O`Mahler
This gelding was purchased as a 3yo by the Smiths at Goffs Doncaster Sales way back in August 2021, and when they brought him home, quickly turned him out in the fields to grow and develop.
Fast forward 12 months, and patience, once again with the Smiths, has been rewarded, because we now have a magnificent looking young 4yo horse on our books who is working well, and with an excellent attitude.
Plan is to enter him in a Bumper, come early October.
The purchase price to McGoldrick Racing was £18,000, thus a minimum 10% share will cost £1800 plus all in monthly training fees of £275 pcm per 10% share. Minimum 5% maximum 40%
