It was great to receive a phone call from James Given telling me that Starboard Watch is about to embark on her maiden voyage, setting sail from either the port of Thirsk on 22nd April or Port Catterick on Wednesday 26th April.
Admiral Given will be in charge of operations and will select the better option.
All I can say is that our filly is indeed well, but, whilst she may run a big race on her debut, it will be a totally new experience for her, and, in my opinion, she is best watched.
