Sincere apologies to all for the lack of information relating to our McGoldrick Racing horses, mainly due to yours truly being hospitalised…. but no need to dwell on that !!
When last updated Romeo had suffered another injury, after which myself and members were fearing the worst, and Romeos racing days were over.
However, the stress fracture injury turned out to be NOT as serious as was first thought, and if we fast forward to today, with thanks to the TLC of Sue, Joel and staff, Romeo is happily grazing on Harveys moorlands with his young mate for company.
At the end of July/early Aug he will be returned to the yard and the road back to the racecourse will have begun.
10 year old he may be, but he`s not for throwing in the towel just yet.
