AT LAST, THE NH SEASON IS BACK AND WE`RE READY TO GO

It`s been a long, long summer, and my members know that flat racing drives me to distraction.

Add to which the football season has been in summer hibernation, so, apart from missing the nice hot weather which is slowly disappearing for the next few months, I`m really looking forward to our horses running well, and Leeds Utd being successful.

Paddy O`Mahler has already had a pipe opener, and ran with great promise in a 2ml 4f Novice Hurdle at Wetherby  on Wed 18th Oct.  He is highly thought of by  Sue and Joel, and the plan is to race Paddy over 2ml 4f in Novice / Maiden hurdles until he is given a mark, then have some fun in handicap hurdles during the coming months.

Long term plan is to make him into a top class 3ml Chaser,  but for now, it’s the present on which we have to concentrate, so watch out for our Paddy throughout the coming months.

Romeo Brown.  Most will recall, Romeo had a nasty fall at Doncaster in February earlier this year, breaking a bone in his left forelimb.

We feared the worst, but thanks to Sue and her staff, plus Matt the vet, the slow road to recovery over the last EIGHT months has worked very well, and Im delighted to be able to report our Romeo is almost ready for action judging what I`ve seen recently.

Look out for him….it`a must.

Romeos jockey Thomas Willmott also suffered a horrible fall earlier this year so both horse and jockey have been on the sidelines together for many months.

Despite multiple injuries, of which the worst was his broken arm, Tom`s never say die attitude  during his recovery has almost paid off, and wouldn`t it be a dream come true if both horse and jockey were able to join forces again for a dual first race comeback.

On a commercial note to my follower, over the last 12 months, Harvey has been busy at the sales, and whilst some of his purchases have already raced, there are a few that were “turned out” and need to be watched very carefully, because its amazing  how horses respond after returning from being back to nature on Harvey`s grazing land for a few months.

So, if all goes to plan, then I`ll  be looking for 4 or 5 new members to join us in our next venture.

So if one 10% share ….or more, would be of interest, just let me have your name and a contact number and I`ll be in touch with an update, and more detail

Our  terms and conditions do not insist on you being a Leeds Utd supporter.  !!!!

Richard
